Despatch Process

All online orders at www.rimstyle.com are immediately processed. Using our comprehensive packaging techniques and materials, which are exclusively designed and manufactured for Rimstyle, we ensure all orders are checked, securely packed, and despatched by our secure and insured courier delivery service. We show you the estimated delivery time window for each product online, with our online systems checking "real-time" availability. Some items take longer than others for delivery, so if you need an item by a particular date please refer to the delivery filter tool on ourwebsite. Often orders placed before 3.00pm will be dispatched the very same working day. In some cases special delivery terms and offers will be shown next to your chosen product/s which we will adhere to. If an item is going to belonger than the advertised delivery time window we will contact you by phone or email prior to processing the transaction to let you know, and to check if you wish to proceed.

Postage and Packaging Cost

The cost to deliver a set of wheels to your selected area is displayed at checkout online.
‍This charge covers both the cost of delivery by the courier, and the packaging material costs too. It is calculated based on your location, total weight of the order and type of products.
As we use a national courier for all of our deliveries your delivery is insured against any damages or loses.

What if the delivery is attempted and you are out?

All deliveries are courier delivered and therefore require asignature upon receipt. If you are not in when your delivery is attempted thedriver will post a card outlining details of how you can rearrange a seconddelivery attempt at no extra cost. There are other ‘in flight’ optionsavailable directly with the courier, including delivery to a neighbour and‘leave safe’ at your own risk. Alternatively, if you work weekdays we canarrange the delivery to go directly to your work address provided we have thefull business name and address, and a contact telephone number.

Invoicing

Orders are dispatched from Rimstyle with an attached dispatchnote, which forms a check list both for the benefit of our team and yourselfupon receipt of your goods. Your final VAT invoice is sent separately via emailupon final dispatch of your order for your records. If you have any invoicingqueries or require an invoice copy for a recent order, please do not hesitateto contact us for a free of charge invoice copy from our accounts department.

Packaging

All goods are thoroughly checked prior to despatch, and are then securely packaged and security sealed to ensure safe transit. We use some of the latest wrapping and packaging techniques available on today’s market within our industry, and have packaging exclusively designed and manufactured for our pre-built wheel and tyre units. This not only ensures the products reach you in perfect condition, it means we can get the items packaged exceptionally quickly to ensure your order is with you without delay in the quickest time possible. Packaging is so important when mail ordering so we take it very seriously and to the highest level, ensuring your goods reach you in the condition they were when they left us.

Delivery Insurance

Even though we securely package every item to endeavour that it reaches you safely and securely, unfortunately on very rare occasions goods can be damaged in transit due to the nature of the products, so all postage charges include insurance. If a parcel arrives and the box/packaging appears damaged, please sign for the goods and clearly print "DAMAGED" next to your signature. Then upon opening the parcel, if you find that any productwithin the box/packaging is damaged please contact us by Email or Phone (+44(0)1233 503006) within 24hrs so that we can assess the situation. Please put all items back into the original box/packaging as following on from there we will make a collection of the damaged item and arrange a redelivery of a replacement free of charge. We reserve the right to offer a direct replacement. If the item shows signs of being fitted, it is excluded from this exchange policy.

Wheel Fitment

• In the picture the wheel has a different number of bolt holes than my vehicle requires, does this wheel still fit my vehicle correctly?
• Many wheel manufacturer's only supply one main image for each wheel design, but the wheel model will be available in a variety of fitments. The picture is for illustration purposes of the spoke design only, so sometimes may show a different number of bolt holes to your vehicle, but the wheels will be supplied with the correct stud pattern for your vehicle. Once you select your vehicle details on our website, the website will only display wheels that ARE MADE in the correct stud pattern (PCD) for your vehicle.
• The website says that the wheels fit my vehicle, but how do I know that they actually do?
• Our website data is compiled by our experienced wheel experts from a variety of sources: vehicle manufacturers, wheel manufacturers, ETRTO data, TüV documents, 3rd party wheel fitment data companies, specialist tuner companies, our own experiences, customer experiences, and more… The data is then cross referenced to eliminate any inaccuracies, providing the most comprehensive and advanced wheel fitment data available via the web in the UK. • Do I need to ensure that all the technical aspects of my new wheels match my original/existing wheels?
• Every vehicle has a range of suitable fitments, including a range of wheel diameters,widths and offsets, and there is absolutely no need to remain exactly to the original manufacturer specifications. You'll find that only a small minority of aftermarket wheels are produced in the original OE specifications, so if youare very strict with your fitment specification this will drastically reduce the number of options available to you. • Can I fit the wheels myself?
• Each set of alloy wheels sold is provided with detailed fitting / care guidelines. It is very important that these guidelines are correctly followed, not only for your safety, but also to prolong the life of your new wheels/tyres. If you are unsure at any stage of the fitting procedure then our sales team will be happy to advise you by phone or email. If you are neither qualified to, nor competent/experiencedin wheel fitting, we advise that your new wheels and tyres are fitted professionally by a qualified garage/mechanic.

• WillI need to use my original wheel bolts/nuts?
• With the majority of our wheels we include a FREE fitting kit, which includes abrand new set of wheel bolts or nuts, dependant on vehicle specification, and 4x Free Spigot rings (if required). There are some alloy wheels which aredesigned to accept the original OE wheel bolts or nuts, in which case we may not supply new bolts or nuts. This is particularly common with some Porsche and Commercial fitments, and we do indicate on the final product page whether the bolts/nuts are included.

Tyres

• Do the tyres come fitted on the wheels in the online packages?
• Yes, unless you request otherwise, all of our package come with the tyres carefully mounted to the wheels using the latest in tyre fit technology, and the wheel and tyre units are then digitally balanced using our top of the range Corghi machines.
• Is it ok to have bigger wheels and tyres than what my car has as standard?
• In most cases yes, and the website will show you the approved compatible sizes foryour vehicle. As the wheel size increases, the tyre profile is reduced, to keep your speedometer and geometry of the vehicle correct and within approvals.
• Can I have a different size tyre to what is shown online?
• On each wheel diameter approved for a car, there is often more than one approved conversion tyre size for the vehicle, so this is certainly possible. From the approved tyre sizes suitable for each car, rimstyle.com works with the optimum size/s, but other sizes are possible. We will work with you to ensure tyre aspects such as load and speed rating remain suitable.
• What do the numbers and letters on the side of tyres mean?
• You will find on the sidewall of your tyres a number that follows suit with the following example: 205/40R17, which illustrates the tyre width, side-wall profile, and diameter, commonly followed by numbers and a letter. These illustrate the load capability and maximum speed capability of the tyre.
• The tyre brand I want isn't shown online, can you supply them?
• Yes, we can look to source and supply all brands of tyres. Our website displays avast range from our stocked and regularly supplied brands, and is filled with top tyre recommendations, but if you can't find the tyre you are looking for on the site, just call or drop us an email…
• Are budget tyres ok to use?
• Budget entry level tyres sold in the UK are designed to offer a cheaper, more affordable alternative compared to a high end tyre model, whilst still meetingthe requirements and safety standard approvals stipulated by UK motoring law.
• Do you only supply car tyres, for normal road use?
• No, we can supply tyres from everyday 'about town' use to race track tyres, from car to van, from fast road to off road!
• Do you offer Winter tyres?
• Yes we offer an excellent range of winter packages to suit all needs, available all year round to purchase, ready for winter motoring, and these winter models are marked online with the snowflake symbol.
• Do you only supply car tyres, for normal road use?
• No, we can supply tyres from everyday "about town" use to race track tyres, from car to van, from fast road to off road!

Finance

• How do I apply for finance?
• Our V12 finance system operates online, so it is just a simple case of adding the products that you require to the shopping basket and selecting 'Finance' as your payment method at the checkout stage. If your require a bespoke finance quotation set up for you (as the exact products you require are not available to buy online), please contact us with your requirements and we can email a custom link to you for you to apply.
• How long does it take to apply for finance?
• Generally it will only take you a few minutes to do. In some cases the application may need to be referred to the credit underwriters if an instant decision can't bemade, but this is usually resolved within 24-48 hours.
• I've applied for V12 finance but I need to change/amend the order, can I?
• The best thing to do in this scenario is to contact us. If you apply again online the application will need to be referred and this will take longer (and may not be successful). We will be able to amend the agreement for you, whether you wish to increase or decrease the total spend.
• Can you tell me how much a particular set of wheels / wheels and tyres will workout at per month on finance?
• We have our V12 ‘Finance Calculator' online, if you click on this a box will appear allowing you to make adjustments to the terms of the finance package to better suit your needs. Live calculations are made to give you an accurate indication of the finance cost per month.
• When do I pay the deposit?
• Once you have applied, and if successful, this is the point at which you pay the deposit to get the finance underway. If you are not accepted or choose not to proceed it will not cost a penny.
• When will my first finance repayment be debited?
• Finance repayments are set up via direct debit, and will be deducted from your bank account every month starting from 1 month after you have initiated the finance agreement.

General

• If I email rather than call, will the response be as quick?
• We have one of the best email response times in the industry at Rimstyle. No email is left unanswered and we endeavour to answer all emails within 1 hour of receipt, within business working hours. During peak times with excessively high volumes of emails, no email remains unanswered for more than 24hrs.
• Do you ship internationally, and can you make exceptions?
• Currently we strictly ship within the UK and Ireland only via our website, and can arrange shipments into Europe by email / telephone.
• Can you supply fitting accessories such as wheel bolts and nuts separately?
• Sure, we stock almost all styles of nut and bolt heads and threads, along with spigot rings, anti-theft locks, and valves too. Just call or email with your requirements.
• Do you charge a fee for processing a credit card?
• We do not charge any additional fees for processing orders via credit card.
• Can I visit you to view the wheels?
• We are one of the leading mail order specialist for alloy wheels and tyres in the UK, our team are dedicated to phone and email enquiries and sales, so we do not have a viewing / face-to-face facility here at Rimstyle, but we are always on hand to discuss options, answer any questions you may have, and even supply additional images via email if required.
• Being mail order do you actually hold your own stock?
• We certainly do. We hold an incredible volume of our wheels and tyres listed online at our purpose built premises in Ashford, Kent, giving us more control over pricing, quality, choice, and also quicker delivery turnaround times.
